The “MM” in MM Canelé comes from
the French words
Mignon and
Mignonne.
Mignon (masculine) means “cool” or “stylish,”
while Mignonne (feminine) means
“cute” or “charming.”
Though seemingly opposite, both express
the essence of appeal.
Crisp on the outside, moist on the inside
—like a canelé that holds both strength
and delicacy,
we’ve infused these values into a small pastry.
